The following groups within the School of Engineering (STI) and the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) are ACCES Member Laboratories.
- LAMMM – Laboratory for Multiscale Mechanics Modeling (Prof. William Curtin) – Modeling of the mechanical behavior of materials
- LSMS – Computational Solid Mechanics Laboratory (Prof. Jean-François Molinari) – Fundamental and applied research at the interface between mechanics, materials science and scientific computing
- THEOS – Theory and Simulation of Materials (Prof. Nicola Marzari) – First-principles simulations of complex materials and devices
- WIRE – Wind Engineering and Renewable Energy Laboratory (Prof. Fernando Porté-Agel) – Turbulent transport in environmental flows, with emphasis on the atmospheric boundary layer and wind energy systems.
- CGD – Computational Granular Dynamics Group (Dr Mark Sawley) – Study of granular material through the use of various numerical simulation methods.
