EPFL Postdoctoral Fellows

Postdocs, or early career researchers, are crucial for EPFL’s world-class research and a vital part of the EPFL’s research community. There are just over 1’000 working in EPFL. There is substantial support for postdocs embedded around all EPFL central services, so we have created this website to help you easily navigate all of the resources that are available to you. We hope it will be a useful resource throughout your time here.

During your postdoctoral stay at EPFL, several funding opportunities are available to you. Have a look to the Fellowship web-pages if you are looking for a mobility grant or to the Research Funding web-pages is you are looking for complementary funding for your research. Nice research outputs… maybe you are ready to apply for a research award.

A Postdoctoral Fellowship is, by definition, temporary, so it is never too early to start thinking about the next step. Ideally, you should begin your postdoctoral training by discussing your research and career plans with your host professor.
