Voltiris receives CHF 100k for renewable energy production
In response to the growing demand for food and renewable energy, EPFL start up Voltiris has developed a new generation of colour optimized photovoltaic panels to maximise sunlight both for growing crops and producing renewable energy. In collaboration with HES-SO and Agroscope, Voltiris will use the Tech Seed loan from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) for its ongoing pilots and prepare its industrialisation and large-scale projects.
Qaptis receives 100K CHF for its CO2 capture solution
The EPFL startup Qaptis has developed a technology capable of capturing 90% of the CO2 emitted by internal combustion engines, mainly those of trucks and boats. The Tech Seed loan from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) will help Qaptis finalise its prototype with a view to launching the commercialisation of its product.
Tune Insight receives 100K CHF to collaborate on sensitive data
Tune Insight develops a software solution that enables organizations to collaborate securely for extracting collective insights from their most sensitive and confidential data. The Tech Seed loan from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) will help Tune Insight expand the development team and move from proofs-of-concept to licensing revenues in further verticals, including health, insurance and cybersecurity.
