Qaptis receives 100K CHF for its CO2 capture solution

Published:11.05.22 — The EPFL startup Qaptis has developed a technology capable of capturing 90% of the CO2 emitted by internal combustion engines, mainly those of trucks and boats. The Tech Seed loan from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) will help Qaptis finalise its prototype with a view to launching the commercialisation of its product.

Tune Insight receives 100K CHF to collaborate on sensitive data

Published:10.05.22 — Tune Insight develops a software solution that enables organizations to collaborate securely for extracting collective insights from their most sensitive and confidential data. The Tech Seed loan from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) will help Tune Insight expand the development team and move from proofs-of-concept to licensing revenues in further verticals, including health, insurance and cybersecurity.

HemostOD received 100K CHF from FIT

Published:04.05.22 — HemostOD received 100K CHF from FIT for its on-demand blood platelets. Based at the EPFL Innovation Park, HemostOD has developed an innovative solution for ex vivo on-demand production of blood platelets, thus providing an efficient alternative to blood donor platelet transfusions as known today. The Tech Seed loan from the Fondation pour l’Innovation Technologique (FIT) will allow HemostOD to pursue its projects in collaboration with UNIL, CHUV and UNIGE.
