Career funding for young researchers

The Institute of Physics accepts candidates for Ambizione, PRIMA, Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships, and ERC Starting Grants. For an overview of these programs and the differences between them, please refer to the following overview presentation.

For all four funding schemes, EPFL accepts both external and internal candidates. In the latter case, and if the project is granted, the total duration of a term employment (CDD) at EPFL cannot exceed 9 years. Candidates also need to check that they comply with the specific eligibility criteria of each grant (see the respective websites).
