The SV Workshop team provides a 24-hour on-call service for the following alarm-controlled equipment:
- Freezers and liquid nitrogen tanks in cryogenic rooms AI 0123, AI 0223, AI 9134 and SV 1621;
- SV Store freezers and refrigerators;
- Solution Preparation Facility freezers and refrigerators in room SV 1619;
- Autoclaves of the BSL3 laboratories of FSV and CAV.
In the event of a malfunction of one of these equipment, the person on duty will ensure the preservation of the biological material by repairing or transferring the samples to a back-up device within one hour. Concerned users are informed as soon as possible of the measures taken.
Emergency -20°C and -80°C freezers are locates in rooms AI 0223, AI 0123 and SV 1621.
The standby service can also be called outside of working hours for advice, assistance or technical help in case of a major issues on scientific equipment. To contact standby service, users can contact the PCC trhough telephone number 34000 and request to be called back by the SV Workshop collaborator on duty.
