The workshop services are not invoiced, only the parts necessary for repairs and potential external services are charged to the laboratories. In case of need, an offer is made and purchase orders are processed after approval by the head of the unit concerned.
Regarding construction of prototypes, raw material and manufacturing hours eventually required by the STI School workshops are at the laboratories’ expense. The hourly rate of the STI workshops is 20CHF. Invoices are sent directly to the administrative assistants of the requesting units.
