Competences of the PAT

Supporting teaching and research, the Technical Workshops Platform consists of six workshops spread across the Faculty on the EPFL site.

These enable the production of prototypes of all kinds, from the manufacture of sophisticated mechanical parts to complex printed circuits.

This situation, which is beneficial to the research laboratories, also gives students the opportunity to experience the real world during their studies.

Specialities: Routing, prototyping and production of printed circuits with plated-through holes, with anti-solder mask. Laser phototracing. Self-service printed circuit manufacturing laboratory.
