EDNE Awards laureates


This year, the Brain Mind Institute awarded the prize for the best PhD thesis to Adrian Doerig. The thesis, entitled “Crowding and the Architecture of the Visual System” was performed in the Laboratory of Psychophysics under the direction of Michael Herzog.
Adrien combined computational modelling and psychophysical experiments to study human visual processing. His work, which produced more than 10 publications, was considered as an outstanding contribution in the field of neuroscience.

Adrian Doerig was equally awarded the EPFL 8% Thesis Distinction.
