Resilient Value Chain Management

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)

The program

Profound change currents are reshaping supply chains on a global scale. Those who wish to stay ahead of this change need to move from supply chain management to value chain management thinking. Move beyond simply managing operations to driving collaboration across your value chain.

Our Executive Certificate is for those who want to drive change responsibly within the value chain. It provides a top down view on how all of the nodes along the value chain fit together. It focuses on the various stakeholder interests and trade-offs to be made, the relevant key performance indicators and on how to build resilience and agility. Understanding the end to end process, the people and what data is the valuable data, is the necessary step before any digital transformation. This course enhances collaboration as experts from roles across the value chain learn a common language. It also explores strategies for smart green logistics for carbon emissions equivalent reduction and customer satisfaction.

This program is for professionals with minimum 5 years, up to 25 years experience, who want to understand and transform the value chain.

What do our participants say?

Aurélien Blanc

“I would recommend this program because it has been really helpful to better understand the whole value chain end-to-end. Each module has been very interesting and provided a short but deep understanding of each component. The Serious Business Simulation Game (practical case study work) is helping to apply the different concepts to better understand how to use them in real life.”

Aurélien Blanc, Regional Demand Planner at Givaudan (2022 Graduate)

Fabio Sant

“The CAS in Resilient Value Chain Management has been one of the best courses I’ve done during my professional life. Very nice to be “back to school”! Despite the years of experience in supply chain, there is always something new to discover and learn. This really was the best platform: Fantastic experienced professors, professional guests & professional team mates from different functional areas bringing diverse and new perspectives to your point of view. Tailor-made around resilience, sustainability, logistics and financial impact, all directly applicable to your professional life with a nice simulation tool (practical case study work).”

Fabio Sant, European Operation Planning Manager at Nestlé Purina (2022 Graduate)

Frédéric Oppliger

“With a background in Quality in the Pharma industry, I enrolled in this CAS program to develop my knowledge in the Supply Chain field, as part of my development plan at Bristol Myers Squibb. It happened at a time when I was thinking about a career move and exploring other areas of the organization I’m working for; it definitely helped me to take the step. For me, the overall highlights of this program were meeting people, developing my network, sharing experience, and competing (in a friendly way!) during the serious business game sessions. The general atmosphere in this program, with the lecturers and classmates, was very nice and interactive; it exceeded my expectations in terms of learning and enjoyment.”

Frédéric Oppliger, Director Global Supply Chain at Bristol Myers Squibb (2023 Graduate)
