Discovery Learning Laboratories

State-of-the-art facilities for student experiments

Discovery Learning Laboratories

At our Discovery Learning Laboratories (DLLs), students carry out experiments to supplement their coursework. The labs are grouped by discipline and open to students from any section, and the experiments are designed to encourage students from different sections to work together. Most of the students who use the labs are enrolled in a Bachelor’s program.

By adopting a new teaching approach known as “InterSections,” the DLLs allow professors to coach students from several different backgrounds and give them the skills they will eventually need for larger cross-disciplinary projects.
