Your first academic obligations

On arrival, you will be required to attend one of the information sessions in order to pick up your student card, called the CAMIPRO card, and receive important information for the start of your studies. You will also receive a “Welcome to EPFL” brochure, which contains useful information for your exchange.

At the start of each semester, you should validate your personal and academic details in the Academic Registration Form, using the “FRAC” tab on your secure IS-Academia student portal.

Once you have validated your personal details, your enrolment certificate (PDF) will be available in the “personal details” tab.

From mid-August, you will be able to register for courses in the “course registration” tab, provided that you have already validated the FRAC form. Registration deadline for the autumn semester: 25th September 2020.

For any academic query, please contact the academic exchange advisor of your section.

Administrative information

After your admission has been confirmed, you will receive your GASPAR account (EPFL username and password) during the summer. It enables you to access secured EPFL services, such as your personal mailbox, the Moodle platform, etc. Find out more at “Resources for students“.

You will receive your student card at the exchange information session. If you are staying for more than one semester, this card must be updated in a CAMIPRO terminal at the start of your second semester. It allows you to enjoy various services and advantages.
