Publibike is a self-service rental system with mechanical and electrical bikes available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Bicycles make it easy to move from one station to another, as well as to make intermediate stops thanks to a smart padlock built into the bike.
Students and employees from EPFL and UNIL get an annual “Campus” subscription at a special price (CHF 50.-/year or 25.-/6 months). This gives access to the Lausanne-Morges network as well as to the entire PubliBike national network of the same generation. The first 60 minutes are included for each use.
To enable this service on your CAMIPRO card and start biking around, you need to register on myCAMIPRO (with login).
You can see a map with the number of available bikes at the stations. Also, if you own an iPhone or an Android phone, you can download the new Publibike app (from your smartphone’s App Store or GooglePlay), that will give you all the number of available bikes, a map of the stations and also allows you to open the bike’s lock.
