The Research Office has several missions: (i) inform the EPFL research community on funding opportunities, (ii) provide support in the application process and contracting for public and not-for-profit funding, (iii) provide support in the management of large research and mobility projects. It is also responsible for ethical aspects linked to EPFL research projects.

CYBER-DEFENCE FELLOWSHIPS: Zuowen Wang
To promote research and education in cyber-defence, EPFL and the Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus launched jointly in spring 2020 the first call for the CYD Fellowships – A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research. In June 2020, the first three CYD fellowships were awarded.
Innosuisse Flagship Initiative – Strive for systemic innovation
Innosuisse will soon launch a new Flagship Initiative to stimulate systemic innovation and transdisciplinary collaboration. This initiative seeks to find solutions to current or future challenges relevant to a large part of the economy or society. Innosuisse will launch the first call for flagships in January 2021.
