A broad study offer

Our 3 Master Programs cover all domains of Physics from Theoretical to Applied Physics including Nuclear Engineering .

The Master Program in Physics constitutes an introduction to advanced topics in actual Research including core courses and research projects in close interaction with IPHYS laboratories.   The Master Program in Applied Physics involves the students in the research laboratory practice and internship in industry. Advanced topics in Physics Engineering complete the curriculum.  The Master Program in Nuclear Engineering develops over 3 sites: EPFL, ETHZ and PSI.

All Master Programs end with 4-6 months of full-time research (Master Thesis).
