From May 2024, Swisscom will implement new regulations. In fact, the maximum speed of our mobile subscriptions with unlimited data volume will be set at 512kbit/s from more than 60GB consumed per month.

| Calls with or from abroad |
It is possible for you to request a temporary international opening (exit right) when you travel abroad. For this, you must make a request by sending an e-mail to the address [email protected] and specifying the dates of departure and return. |
| Use of data abroad |
Once the profile is open, you will be able to make calls abroad. Despite this, for data usage, you will still need to log into your Swisscom Cockpit to activate data packs, called Data Travel, for your country of stay. ▪ The login is done with the mobile number ▪ Activated packs are valid for 1 year (as long as it remains consumption) ▪ A pack is valid for all countries in the same area (and only in the same zone) (e.g. a pack for the Global zone won’t work in a country in the Europe zone) This only concerns data usage in countries outside of your mobile subscription. There are also packs for calls and SMS, but the latter are not mandatory to activate to use these types of communication. However, you can also limit costs by activating, respectively, Travel Voice packs and Travel Message packs. Help for activating packages can be found on the Swisscom website. Good practices When you have to go to a country that is not included in your mobile subscription, always opt for a minimum 1 GB pack (if possible). Likewise, if you plan to use more than 1 GB, then opt for a 3 GB pack. If you plan to use more than 3 GB, opt for a 10 GB pack. |
