NEW! from June 8, 2021, myPrint has a new look


What will change for you:

In principle, everything will be transparent to you, but

  • the printers will be of a new generation, so
    • more efficient, faster
    • less energy intensive
    • with a larger paper capacity (4,500 sheets)
    • with a full touch screen
    • allowing the design of folded and stapled booklets in A4 and A5
    • with improved scanning (speed, quality and format detection)
    • with an “eco” stapling option (no staple) up to 10 sheets
  • the accounting software will be updated and the interface that allows you to view your myPrint account will have a new “look”
  • the print queues (SecurePrint-Color, etc.) will in principle automatically switch to the new infrastructure; in the event of a problem, you may have to reinstall them using the usual method (see Installing the print queues)

The purpose of myPrint service is to :

  • centralize the printing/copying/scanning procedure within EPFL
  • make it accountable
  • provide documentation on the installation and location of equipment

To do this, it established an infrastructure of servers and provides printers of different types
