Departure of an employee
The unit and the employee may find hereafter useful and non-exhaustive information in case of departure from the EPFL:
- An information letter to the employee upon their departure from the EPFL
- PUBLICA Pension Fund
- A checklist for the units – departure of an employee
- A copy of the approved and signed work certificate must be sent to Human Resources. Human Resources may provide work certificate models to the units.

Electronics Infrastructure
Before the end of their work collaboration with the EPFL, users have the responsibility to delete all data concerning their private use of the EPFL electronics infrastructure.
Access rights to the EPFL electronics infrastructure are automatically removed when the user’s work collaboration with the EPFL ends. If required and justified, the access to the user’s mailbox and email may be exceptionally maintained past this date.

Required deadlines at the end of employment
When an employee wishes to terminate his employment before the end of his work contract he must send a resignation letter to Human Resources.
