Infoscience: new platform, new features

Published:22.07.24 — A new version of Infoscience was deployed on July 22, 2024, marking a significant advancement in the evolution of EPFL’s institutional platform. True to its new slogan, "Unlocking Knowledge," Infoscience aims to support Open Science and specifically EPFL's Open Access policy through self-archiving (green route). The new interface enhances the visibility and accessibility of EPFL authors’ works and publications, thereby facilitating the wide dissemination of the institution’s knowledge and research.

Read & Publish agreement with Elsevier 2024-2028

Published:27.06.24 — In the framework of the Swiss national strategy on Open Access, swissuniversities, on behalf of the Swiss Higher Education Institutions, and Elsevier signed a second transformative agreement Read & Publish (2024-2028). This new contract covers Elsevier's entire journal portfolio, including Cell Press and the Lancet titles.

Open Access: new Read&Publish agreements with academic publishers

Published:13.03.24 — In the framework of the Swiss national strategy on Open Access, three new Read&Publish agreements have been signed by the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries with the publishers Cambridge University Press (CUP), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Taylor & Francis (T&F). These agreements allow EPFL researchers to get access to the publisher’s portfolio and to publish in Open Access free of charge, according to the conditions described below.
