Paternity leave, registered partner leave and adoption leave

1 A fully paid leave of 20 working days is granted:
1to the legal father on the birth of one or more of his children;
2in the case of a registered partnership, on the birth of one or more of the partner’s children;
3to the adoptive father on the adoption of one or more children in accordance with art. 37, para. 4.
2 Ten days’ leave must be taken within six months of the birth or adoption; the remaining ten days must be taken within twelve months. Leave may be taken in blocks or by the day.
