► Old Age and Survivors Insurance (AVS)
As of January 1, 2021, the deduction is equivalent to 5.3% of the gross monthly salary (reduced by any maintenance allowances not subject to contributions).
The retirement age for women is 64 and for men 65
►Unemployment insurance (AC)
As of January 1, 2016, the limits for AC contributions correspond to 1.1% up to a gross monthly salary (reduced by any maintenance allowances not subject to contributions) of Fr. 12,350; i.e., Fr. 148,200 annually.
For annual salaries above Fr. 148’200.-; respectively Fr. 12’350.- monthly, a contribution corresponds to 0.5%.
Since January 1, 2014, there is no upper limit.

At the end of the employment relationship, the employee can ask his/her employer for an employer’s certificate in order to claim his/her right to unemployment insurance from the unemployment fund of his/her choice. The request for the certificate must be sent to our Social Insurance Manager. You can find his contact information on our HR homepage.
►Cantonal supplementary benefits insurance for families (PC Familles / Vaud)
According to the cantonal vote in spring 2011, this law was introduced on October 1, 2011. It provides for a parity deduction of 0.06%. The deduction appears on your salary slip. The employer’s share is integrated into the family allowance.
