During the second semester, the completion of a laboratory project is required. Its objective is to get a deeper insight into a research lab.
The project is carried out either:
- 2 days per week during the semester
- 6 weeks during the Summer break
This is to be defined with the lab/ student.
The project takes place in one of the EPFL laboratories.
Laboratory assignment
Applications to the ISIC laboratories of interest are made via a secured EPFL website. The allocation will then be carried out automatically by the system. Results will be published before the semester starts.
Applications to labs outside of ISIC should be made by direct contact with the labs.
⚠ Important :
– Access to this platform requires that the EPFL registration (FRAC) be fully completed
– only students carrying their project during the summer break are allowed to contact the labs directly (outside of this platform)
Chemical engineering and exchange students
This project is not available to students in the Master of Science in Chemical engineering & Biotechnology.
This project is available for exchange students too. Same rules apply (EPFL ISIC labs, application via the interface).
