Act for Change Food took place from November 12 to 30 2018.
This edition was entirely focused on food and was organized in collaboration with the catering and retail service. The focus was on vegetarian cuisine, with workshops, tastings, conferences and film screenings! Several restaurants on campus offered vegetarian dishes specially composed for the occasion. The objective was above all to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of meat and fish consumption, but also to (re)discover the flavours of vegetarian dishes!
During the 3 weeks of the Challenge, several events took place on campus.
The main event was the conference and lunch of the great starred chef Alain Passard, a precursor of vegetable cuisine and a fervent defender of seasonal cuisine. There were also vegetarian cooking workshops held on campus or the conference “Are we eating the planet?” to become aware of the impact of our food on the environment.
