Structures and materials

To increase the longevity, safety, and sustainability of infrastructure projects, researchers at ENAC are developing approaches to design new structures and monitor the integrity of existing ones. Areas of expertise include traditional construction materials such as steel, glass, concrete, and wood, and more recent developments, from composites and hybrid materials to self-repairing structures.
