The VPSI proposes a centralized backup service for individual workstations.
Description
The system allows to automatically backup the data on a collaborator’s workstation. The backup agent, which is installed on the workstations, sends encrypted data to on-site servers. The stored data are encrypted. It is then possible, at any time, to restore this data. This system is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
Activation
To activate your Lina account you have to send the request to [email protected] or contact your IT manager https://www.epfl.ch/schools/sb/research/isic/platforms/it-and-data-management-platform/
You will receive thereafter an email with the instructions.
