EPFL – Alain Herzog

The Center for Intelligent Systems at EPFL (CIS) is a collaboration among ENAC, IC, SB, STI and SV that brings together researchers working on different aspects of Intelligent Systems.

In order to promote exchanges among researchers and encourage the creation of new, collaborative projects, CIS is organizing:

Event Series

colloq 300

This Seminar series is a CIS initiative that brings together and invites professors and researchers from EPFL and all around the world working on different aspects of Intelligent Systems to discuss the current state of the art.

NeurIPS 2022

The Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) is the main machine learning conference. We have decided, following up to the conference in the US, to organize a local mid-scale event on the EPFL campus, and to invite anyone who had an accepted contribution at NeurIPS  to apply for one of our talk and/or poster slots.

For the 2022 edition of the “Meet the professors” event, the Integrative Food and Nutrition Center (IFNC) and the Center for Intelligent Systems (CIS) had decided to join forces and invited partners from the industry on September 15th for an intensive online event.

This workshop aims to bring together students and young researchers from EPFL-CIS and RIKEN-AIP and discuss the latest achievements and challenges of machine learning.

The summer school covers broad topics related to Edge AI. You will learn about designing Edge AI algorithms, systems, and applications.

The goal of AI4Science@EPFL day is to gather faculty, researchers and students who work or are interested in applications of machine learning to science.

The EPFL school of Life Sciences and the EPFL Center for Intelligent Systems are delighted to organize the first CIS-SV AI deepdive. An event to exchange on AI in Life Sciences in general and to discuss challenges and opportunities.
