On Saturday, 5 November and Sunday, 6 November 2016 was held the EPFL Open Days, aimed at demonstrating to the general public research activities undertaken within EPFL.
ACCES assisted the NCCR MARVEL to present how numerical simulation is contributing to the discovery of new materials. A large screen presented examples of MARVEL groups’ activities using advanced visualization techniques such as stereoscopic animations and 360o images.
