Bachelor
The first year focuses on basic scientific training in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science.

The Bachelor cycle offers specific courses in:
environmental chemistry, microbiology, soil science, physics and chemistry of the atmosphere, etc…
hydrology, sanitary engineering, water and waste management, quantitative methods, etc… Students progressively acquire the tools and methods of the environmental engineer.
In the final year, you can choose options with a view to the specializations of the Master’s degree.
The Bachelor’s degree is an intermediate diploma. It is the passport to begin the Master’s program, at EPFL or at another university in the world.
