Curriculum in brief

The Environmental Sciences and Engineering curriculum is strongly anchored in the basic sciences (mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and computer science). Engineering is at the heart of the initial training covering the fields of water, ecology, soils, atmosphere, as well as aspects of observation and processing of environmental information. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of programming skills, as well as on the use of sensors and the numerical analysis of environmental data sets.

The complete training consists of the Bachelor’s degree with the fundamental elements of environmental sciences and engineering, as well as interdisciplinary aspects, followed by the Master’s program which allows students to choose specific orientations to the main environmental issues. The practical dimension, close to the professional world, is present in numerous projects and internships.
