A Postdoctoral Fellowship is, by definition, temporary, so it is never too early to start thinking about the next step. Ideally, you should begin your postdoctoral training by discussing your research and career plans with your host professor. MSCA-COFUND programmes are European Commission initiatives that offer additional funding for new or existing fellowship programmes to provide an international and intersectoral dimension to research training and career development.
