Cyber-Defence (CYD) Fellowships – Call for Master Thesis, Doctoral and Distinguished Postdoctoral Applications in Switzerland

To promote research and education in cyber-defence, EPFL and the Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus have jointly launched the “CYD Fellowships – A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research.” The 9th call for applications is now open with a rolling call for Master Thesis Fellowship applications, and with a deadline of 23 February 2024 (17:00 CET) for Doctoral and Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship applications. An online Applicant Workshop will be held on 23 January 2024 from 11:00 to 11:45 CET. Read more here.

Cyber-Defence (CYD) Fellowships – Proof of concept

A brand-new CYD proof of concept Fellowships program promoting research and innovation in cyber-defence has been launched by the EPFL and the Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus. A rolling call for applications is now open and talented, future entrepreneurs with an innovative vision in cyber-defence are strongly encouraged to apply. These fellowships aim to support applied research leading towards an innovative product or service and they are awarded for a duration of 12 months (max. CHF 130’000.- per application). Applicants must be pursuing or holding bachelor, master or doctoral degrees recognized in Switzerland. CYD proof of concept fellows should be hosted by a Swiss higher education research center, their own startup based in Switzerland or at EPFL Innovation Park.
