EPFL supports the post-training and ongoing training of its workforce and offers a wide range of courses:
- FOBS Course: Mandatory basic safety training (FOBS) for all newly hired EPFL employees (staff, interns, etc.) including at other EPFL locations.
- FOBA Course (page available in French): Basic administrative training for administrative staff when they first arrive at EPFL.
- Staff Training Service Courses (STS): Work techniques, personal development, staff management and work management, professional development (non-academic), IT trainings, EPFL trainings (Sesame, onboarding, etc.).
- Language Courses: From a perspective of globalisation, languages are essential. Several free courses are available at the Language Centre.
- Various courses available from the Federal Office of Personnel OFPER (page only available in French)
