The TapeStation 4200 from Agilent is a user-friendly fluorescence-based electrophoresis instrument for sizing, quantification and quality control of nucleic acids. It is open, after a training, to GECF users that want to assess the quality of their RNA samples.
In addition to user guides that can be found on Agilent web site (here and here), we have written GECF-specific guides for running RNA on this instrument: standard sensitivity assay and high sensitivity assay.
