CONNECT Founders a unique fast-track initiative for sole founders and aspiring entrepreneurs on the look-out for a co-founding team.
The event spans over 2 days, for 4H total, on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th of December.
The two sessions are designed to boost the chances for sole founders to meet and form a trusting, complementary team, and bring their startup to the next level.
A casual closing night will also be organized to present the newly formed teams and meet the innovation broader network (Covid-19 rules permitting).
Similarly, CONNECT Founders offers a unique chance for students and graduates to become a core team member of a growing Swiss Spinoff, such as in a co-founder and C-executive position, full-time or alongside their studies or part-time careers.
All profiles, skillsets and experiences are welcome to join!
The first edition is hosted by EPFL at The Station at following dates:
Session #1 on 13 December 2021, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Session #2 on 14 December 2021, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Dates of the closing night will be defined later.
The fast-track initiative gathers students and graduate experts in technology and business from a University of the Canton de Vaud, around new startups in need of co-founders and C-suite leaders.
We are actively looking for talented students, seeking to bring their leadership, know-how and ideas to a growing startup, and meet their future co-founder.
You have the possibility to choose your time, role and commitment to the project in the form.
If you are a student or an Alumni for a University of the Canton de Vaud, you are welcome to join: bring your expertise in technology, business, or product development to a Swiss Spinoff, you can register your participation here.
The program is divided in 3 parts
- Talent Collision: a kick-off, speed-dating event, to enable engineers, product developers and business experts to meet with spinoff founders;
- Team Collider: 2 speed brainstormings, to test potential teams around a concrete startup challenge;
- Startup Condensation: A final evening during which teams may present their new teams, receive advice, and meet EPFL Innovation Family to favor business opportunities.
It depends. Startups are more or less advanced. Some may offer a salary (hourly or monthly), while other will look for cofounders to grow their activities first, before being able to pay a salary after a few months.
The EPFL Startup Internship Program may support you, you may find the conditions here.
You have the opportunity to mention your salary expectations in the Registration Form, although the program would preferably select voluntary talents for the first months of startup collaborations.
