Fivet invited by Vorbild Energie und Klima10.06.22NewsEPFLProf. Corentin Fivet (Structural Xploration Lab, EPFL) is invited by the Vorbild Energie und Klima ("Exemplarité Energie Climat"), an initiative by the Swiss Confederation, to speak at the upcoming experience-sharing workshop, on June 14th, 2022. Corentin Fivet will introduce circular design principles for buildings, as a rising strategy to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry. He will present the benefits and risks of reuse, through a review of recent case studies. He will also discuss the perspectives of development in the short and long term, with a focus on the reuse of load-bearing elements.
