The purpose of this summer workshop is to program a mobile phone application. How? By creating a program and having fun sharing and communicating information between friends. This workshop is for girls aged 13 to 15.

Editions 2021

We offer two sessions of the same workshop at the end of the summer holidays:

  • from August 9 to August 12, 2021 (every day from Monday to Thursday)
  • from August 16 to August 19, 2021 (every day from Monday to Thursday).

The registration is closed.

Our 2021 camps are fully booked.

The registration for 2022 will open after the Easter school holidays. We will announce the opening of the registration in the newsletter of the Science Outreach Department to which you can subscribe at

General information

The workshop will start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Attendees are supervised during this period.

EPFL Campus

EPFL: School of Computer and Communications Sciences (IC) and the Science Outreach Department.

Registrations will be taken into account in their order of arrival. Admissions will be confirmed at the latest by June 1st.

The participant fee for the workshop is CHF 50.- payable at arrival on August 12th or 19th.

Instructors and Material
The content of the workshop was developed by the IC faculty. Instructors will be EPFL students. The workshop materials (including mobile phones) are provided. The material remains in class.

Language of the workshop

The participants will have to bring their own lunch/picnic.
