The purpose of this summer workshop is to program a mobile phone application. How? By creating a program and having fun sharing and communicating information between friends. This workshop is for girls aged 13 to 15.
We offer two sessions of the same workshop:
- from August 12 to August 15, 2019 (every day from Monday to Thursday)
- from August 19 to August 22, 2019 (every day from Monday to Thursday).
The registration is closed.
The registration will open after the Easter school holidays. We will announce the opening of the registration in the newsletter of the Science Outreach Department to which you can subscribe at: https://actu.epfl.ch/subscription/newsletter/subscribe/357/
The workshop will start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Attendees are supervised during this period.
EPFL: School of Computer and Communications Sciences (IC) and the Science Outreach Department.
Registrations will be taken into account in their order of arrival. Admissions will be confirmed at the latest by June 1st.
The participant fee for the workshop is CHF 50.- payable at arrival on August 12th or 19th.
Instructors and Material
The content of the workshop was developed by the IC faculty. Instructors will be EPFL students. The workshop materials (including mobile phones) are provided. The material remains in class.
Language of the workshop
The participants will have to bring their own lunch/picnic.
