Screening Instrumentation

In our facility, we have robotics platforms with different levels of integration that are used for screening and compounds management in 96- and 384- wells format. Our integrated systems are protected by enclosures equipped with HEPA filters.

Liquid Handling

The Caliper Sciclone ALH3000 liquid handling workstation is linked to:

  • Labware storage system
  • Microplate barcoding system
  • Peeler and sealer

The Beckman Coulter Biomek i7 liquid handling workstation is linked to:

  • Labware storage system
  • Microplate barcoding system
  • Peeler and sealer
  • Cell incubator
  • Matrix tubes decapper
  • Microplate centrifuge

The Labcyte Echo 550 is a non contact acoustic dispenser delivering fluids in the nanoliter range for:

  • Preparing “Ready to screen” assay plates
  • Generating compound dilution series (dose response)
  • Selecting compound (cherry picking)

The acoustic dispenser is linked to :

  • Stackers and racks
  • Peeler and sealer
  • Microplate centrifuge

Multimode Microplate Readers

There is a Tecan Spark multimode microplate reader. This reader combines filter-based optical systems with monochromator optics, which allows you to do absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence, fluorescence polarization and HTRF measurements. You can download the list of the available filters here.

There is a Tecan Infinite F500 reader. This is a filter-based multimode microplate reader, which allows you to do absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence (top and bottom) and HTRF measurements. You can download the list of the available filters here.

There is also a BioTek Synergy NEO HTS multimode microplate reader. This reader combines filter-based optical systems with quadruple monochromator optics. The BioTek Synergy NEO HTS reader is dedicated to screening campaigns but can be used in open access for specific applications like fluorescence polarization (fluorescein and rhodamine), BRET2 & NanoBRET™.

There are two GE Healthcare IN Cell Analyzer 2200 automated microscopes with integrated robotic station.
