It is possible to take up to 8 credits outside the SIQ study plan, in any school IC, STI, SB, but students should submit a request to the section for validation.
In particular SIQ recommends some EPFL doctoral courses and other courses given by the Geneva university UNIGE.

Please note that courses taken in Geneva are credited by UNIGE, the credits will be recognized by EPFL, but they will not appear in the diploma supplement.
