Subsidies on train passes
15% subsidy on the Swiss global pass (GA travelcard) or free half-fare travelcard for EPFL staff members.

Subsidies on regional passes
EPFL staff members can ask for a 25% subsidy on regional passes.

Students

Subsidies
Some municipalities (including Lausanne, Pully, Epalinges, Le Mont, Paudex) subsidize the purchase of public transport passes for university students. Please check with your Commune if subsidies are granted.

Daily pass
Do you have to keep moving despite health restrictions? With the daily pass it’s easy to order one or more trips up to 60 days in advance. Valid in all Mobilis zones and without SwissPass

EPFL Antennas
Students (bachelor and master) engaged in a study project taking place in an EPFL antenna are entitled to reimbursement of their public transport costs.
Routes and timetables

Swiss Federal Railway (SBB)
The Renens, Morges and Lausanne SBB train stations are the closest ones to the campus. Timetables, routes and tickets via the SBB mobile app or the website.

Lausanne public transport (TL)
The M1 metro and bus No. 31 connect the EPFL campus to the towns of Renens and Lausanne. Timetables, routes and tickets via the TL app or the website.

Morges-Bière-Cossonay public transport (MBC)
Bus No. 701 connects the EPFL campus to the town of Morges and the Bourdonnette neighborhood (Lausanne). Bus No. 705 also stops at EPFL. Timetables, routes and tickets via the the MBC website.
