Are you a motivated student with a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, electricity, computer science or in a similar field? Are you good at solving problems and are looking for a varied program in an international environment? Then this program is for you!
Students who are enrolled in a 5-year program (e.g., Diplom in Germany or Austria, master program in Sweden, and so on) can apply to the master program at the EPFL IC after their third year if their marks after the first two years (e.g., Vordiplom in Germany) show excellence and motivation.Students with strong research interests and who have finished or are currently finishing a 4-year bachelor with outstanding results may be eligible directly to the PhD program. - We offer many optional courses, the possibility to take a specialization which allows you to study a particular field of Computer Science, and carry out a 6 month internship - either within a company or a research labaoratory. The comprehensive program consists of a minimum of 120 ECTS credits. This program gives you the option to take either a specialization or a minor.
- Foundations of software; Data analytics; Signal, images and interfaces; Cyber Security; Networking and mobility; Computer engineering; Wireless communications; Computer science theory; Internet information systems et Software systems.
- A minor allows you to combine your studies in computer science with a subject in some other field.

In order to pursue a particular aspect of your studies or to specialize in conjunction with another section at EPFL, as a student you can choose a secondary field of study and earn a minor degree, in addition to your master’s studies.
