By 2020, the HES-SO Valais Wallis School of Engineering will join the rue d’Industrie in the extension of the EPFL Valais Wallis building. An investment of 179 million francs will allow the establishment of three degree programs and engineering research institutes.
Two labs are temporarily located at Ronquos 35 until the construction of Ronquos 86 is terminated: Extreme Environments Research Laboratory (EERL) and Environmental Computational Science and Earth Observation Laboratory (ECEO)
ALPOLE- Centre of research on alpine and extreme environments – Developed with the support of the Canton of Valais, ALPOLE is the second stage of the EPFL Valais Wallis Campus.
A chair in the Faculty of Life Sciences, attached to the Center for Neuroprosthetics is installed within the Clinique romande de réadaption (CRR). The premises located in the new building of the CRR also house the laboratory of Professor Courtine (relearn to walking via robot assistance).
