This double degree is offered in all EPFL Master’s programs apart from Architecture, Computer Science, Communication Systems, Mathematics and Applied mathematics.
EPFL students who have obtained an overall average of at least 5,0/6 over the propaedeutic year (preparatory year) may apply for this double degree program.
This double degree is open to EC-Lille students who have completed the first two years of engineering training, i.e., after four years of actual higher education, engineering studies being preceded by at least two years of preparatory classes (Classes préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles).

After having successfully completed the first two years of the Bachelor’s program at EPFL, the students complete the first two years of the engineering curriculum at EC-Lille. They then return to EPFL for the 2-year Master’s degree.
The students complete the two years of engineering training at EC-Lille and then pursue a 2-year Master’s degree at EPFL.
EPFL students receive the Bachelor’s degree from EPFL at the end of the two years spent at EC-Lille.
Students from both institutions who have successfully completed the entire double degree program (Bachelor’s and Master’s level) receive the Diplôme d’ingénieur from EC-Lille and the Master’s degree from EPFL.
EPFL students must pay a tax related to social security and preventive health service at EC-Lille.
