EPFL students who have obtained an overall average of at least 5,0 over the propaedeutic year (preparatory year) and who have successfully completed the 2nd year of bachelor’s degree (60 ECTS) can apply for the double degree program.
The program is open to EC-Lille students who have completed the first two years of engineering training, i.e., after four years of actual higher education, with engineering studies being preceded by at least two years of preparatory classes (classes préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles).
At the end of this program, the student obtains the “diplôme d’ingénieur de l’Ecole Centrale de Lille” as well as the EPFL Master of Science degree. After having successfully completed the first two years of the bachelor’s degree study program at EPFL, the student completes the first two years of the EC-Lille engineering curriculum. Then, she/he returns to EPFL for two years of master’s degree study program (see diagram below).
The EC-Lille student completes the two years of engineering training and then pursues a 2-year master’s degree at EPFL. The student obtains an EPFL Master of Science degree as well as the “diplôme d’ingénieur de l’Ecole Centrale de Lille”.
