Channel Modelling of the EPFL campus

It is very important to have a good model of the channel for both theory and simulation. Different models exist for outdoor situations. Every model is quite specific to a certain environment. This is why one should try different existing models, compare them with actual measurements on the software-radio, and finally come up with a model that describes as good as possible the EPFL environment.

The first part will be to make a choice of the available models and to compare them to actual channel measurements. Once the difference between these models and the reality is known, a new model should be done that is as general and as simple as possible.
