Research Days

10 - 14 September 2019
Sion | Neuchâtel | Geneva | Fribourg | Lausanne

Society and Science

The Research Days will bring together key political figures from the area, local industrial partners and academic partners of the EPFL campuses (Sion, Neuchâtel, Geneva, Fribourg, Lausanne). Covering the key themes of each site, the event’s objective is to show how what research contributes or can contribute brings or can bring to society, both with a political support and through collaboration with industry.

The Vice-Presidency for Research will organise these events festivities on the different campuses around key themes through thematic days: energy, microtechnology, neuro and brain research, eco-buildings and ecology.

Some key projects will then take centre stage at the Portes Ouvertes event on 14th and 15th September on our campus in Ecublens, Lausanne.
