Short Biography
Denis Rochat received his engineering diploma (HES) in electrical engineering in 1978, and a diploma in computer science from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 1985. He worked as project manager (micro informatics and computer aided design) with Valtronic SA for 8 years. In 1992, Denis joined the mechanical engineering department of EPFL, where he managed the 75 UNIX machines parc. In 2002 Denis started to work for the I&C school of EPFL as webmaster and system manager for the MICS National Center of Competence in Research. Since 2009, Denis is system administrator for the DISAL, LTE and APRL laboratories.
