Lola-OP is a Modular Snake Robot open platform, released as an open project by KM-RoBoTa s.a.s.
Lola-OP is composed of a series of n 1-DoF modules connected to each other with a 90-degree twist shift on their rotating axes. The robot is built using Dynamixel AX-12A actuators, which are integrated by Bioloid plastic structural frames to create its elongated shape.
Modularity and easiness in construction and control make Lola-OP the perfect tool to study serpentine locomotion.
