The Laboratory of Electromagnetics and Acoustics evaluates the performance of its semi-active acoustic absorbers in the interior of a car. The goal is to improve the acoustic comfort.
With the data provided by the car manufacturer, the study aims to develop a model to optimize the transducers dedicated to the control of the modes (electroacoustic properties, target acoustic impedance, number and position of the absorbers).
Once the transducers will be selected, the lab will develop the amplifier electronics and, after optimization and settings, it will test the absorbers with a real prototype embedded in a car.
This research aims at establishing a proof of concept.
