Journey in a drone over the Matterhorn

Flying taxi projects are multiplying. At EPFL, the idea of the utility UAV takes on the modular aspect of the Clip-Air project to offer a vehicle capable of both travelling in an urban environment and taking off to cover short distances. The device does not take up more space than a VW bus and, as a hybrid electric, offers a minimum flight time of 30 minutes.
The project is at the stage of preliminary studies but the current simulation tools will make it possible to test different prototypes under conditions as close as possible to reality. Thus, thanks to the collaboration of the various private and public partners, it could quickly become a reality.
