EliteSportShield aims to predict the risk of knee injuries in sports to assist coaches and medical staff of teams in providing better player care and enhancing performance while maintaining player safety.
EliteSportShield gathered the data from several synchronous IMU sensors during sportive tasks and using biomechanical AI-driven algorithms estimates the loading condition in knee joint.
Open internship position: possibly a position in Jan 2024.
Requirements: the students should have some experience with Python/Matlab, and signal processing. Previous experience in AI is a plus.
- Evaluation of the jump analyze algorithm based on in-lab.
- Estimation of the reactive strength index (RSI) during jump-landing.
- Developing a software to generate graphical report
