Riccardo Sinisi is the Program Manager of the Project Management Office in the Operations Division.
For the Blue Brain, he supports the scientific and engineering project leads to manage, track, coordinate and report on multiple projects within Blue Brain in order for the project to achieve its deliverables.
Before joining Blue Brain, he worked as a research scientist and consultant at University Hospital in Bern, at EPFL Lausanne and at IntraceMedical SA on the synthesis of imaging probes for medical application.
Riccardo has a Masters in pharmaceutical chemistry and obtained his PhD in Organic chemistry from the University of Bologna. Part of his studies were performed at MIT in Boston and at UNC in Chapel Hill. He moved to Spain at ICIQ during his postdoc in organometallic chemistry before starting as a chemical biologist in Switzerland, first at EPFL in Lausanne and later at Inselspital in Bern working on development and production of imaging probes for in-vivo and in-vitro application.
In his free time, Riccardo enjoys cooking, rock climbing, skiing, downhill mountain biking and road biking.
